Forged Wheels

10-Year Structural Warranty

AEGIS RIM warrants to the original purchaser that its Forged Wheels will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and anticipated street driving conditions. The warranty period is ten (10) years from the date of the original purchase invoice.

Hyper Forged Wheels (Flow-Formed)

5-Year Structural Warranty

AEGIS RIM warrants to the original purchaser that its Hyper Forged Wheels (Flow-Formed) will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and anticipated street driving conditions. The warranty period is five (5) years from the date of the original purchase invoice.

Finish, Surface Treatment & Accessories Warranty

2-Year Finish & Accessories Warranty

AEGIS RIM warrants that the wheel finish, surface treatment, and accessories (including center caps, valve stems, and bolts) will be free from the following defects under normal use:

Covered Defects: Peeling, blistering, or cracking of the surface coating; severe, excessive fading not caused by natural environmental factors. The warranty period is two (2) years from the date of the original purchase invoice.

Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover any damage or failure caused by the following circumstances:

  • Road Hazards and Impact: Damage caused by potholes, curb strikes, collisions, accidents, or any external impact.
  • Overload and Misuse: Exceeding the wheel’s designed Maximum Load Rating, improper tire pressure, or abusive actions such as stunt driving.
  • Racing/Off-Road Applications: While wheels may be designed for racing or off-road use, structural failure resulting from the extreme nature of the application itself (e.g., severe road shock) is considered use damage, not a manufacturing defect.
  • Modification and Installation Issues: Damage caused by improper installation by non-professionals, use of incorrect spacers, lug nuts, or improper torque; any secondary processing, repair, welding, or alteration of the wheel body.
  • Improper Care: Damage to the finish or surface caused by corrosive chemical cleaners, salt, acidic solutions, or other environmental factors such as coastal salt spray.

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your AEGIS RIM wheels have a manufacturing defect covered under warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us Please contact the AEGIS RIM Customer Service department immediately via email at [email protected].
  2. Provide Information Furnish the original proof of purchase, the Product Serial Number (for traceability), photos or videos of the failure, and a detailed description of the issue.
  3. Return for Inspection Upon preliminary review, you may be required to return the wheel to our facility for physical inspection. All shipping costs must be pre-paid by the customer.
  4. Resolution If the warranty claim is approved, AEGIS RIM will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the item. We will compensate you for reasonable return shipping costs.

Commitment to Fairness: The requirement for pre-paid shipping ensures the integrity of the claims process for high-value products. Should the inspection confirm a manufacturing defect, AEGIS RIM will fully reimburse the customer for reasonable pre-paid return shipping costs. We highly recommend customers purchase shipping insurance.
