Design Philosophy
The Ghostblade achieves its dramatic profile through a spoke cross-section that maximises the second moment of area in the bending plane while reducing visible mass to a minimum. Grain-flow forging makes the thin blade geometry structurally viable at full JWL load ratings that would be impossible in a cast process — the continuous material grain prevents the crack propagation that limits cast blade spokes.
All wheels forged to order. Lead time 8 – 12 weeks. GripSafe® Technology standard on every AEGIS RIM wheel.
Why It's Built This Way
Blade thickness varies from 6 mm at the barrel junction to 4 mm at the face centre — the thinnest point in any JWL-rated spoke design in production. Each blade is individually inspected by CMM after machining.
